We will step back in time and enter the Forbidden City through its grand arched entrance. The Forbidden City is a magnificent maze of 800 palaces, 9000 rooms and several courtyards that once housed China's emperors.
After a morning of exploration, we will enjoy a delicious Beijing Duck lunch, a signature dish of the city.
In the afternoon, your guide will bring you to the stunning Temple of Heaven, where Ming and Qing emperors held ceremonies for bountiful harvests.
We will conclude our journey with a visit to the Pearl Market known for its wide variety of pearls, jewelry, and souvenirs. Visitors can haggle for goods ranging from traditional crafts to modern fashion accessories
