Join us for a 3-day city tour of Xi'an, a vibrant city hosting some of the most famous cultural gems of China, such as the Terracotta Army.

This bustling metropolis is the oldest of the "Four Great Ancient Capitals of China" and has hosted several of the great Chinese dynasties, including the Qin, Han, and Tang. The city's imperial history is reflected in its urban landscapes, sporting a stunning amalgamation of ancient history and modernisation. Over three days, we will deep dive into the hot spots of Xi'an, making sure to leave China with unforgettable memories!

Itinerary

18 MayBeijing to Xi'an

We begin our adventurous journey from Beijing to Xi'an on China's famous Bullet Train, a sleek, long, and airplane-shaped high-speed train that travels up to 300km per hour.

Upon arrival, we will check into the Grand Dynasty Hotel, located right at the edge of the historical muslim quarter, a haven for foodies. The Muslim Quarter, known for its peculiar architecture, developed during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It has now been inhabited by the muslim population of China for many generations, providing a rich combination of cultures to the area (and a mouthwatering food market!

After an early breakfast, we will be exploring China's most famous burial monument - The burial site of the Terra Cotta Warriors!

These clay statues, together with terracotta acrobats and bronze figures of animals, are unlike anything discovered before. We will learn about its intricate process of restoration, involving unprecedented modern medical technologies.

In the afternoon, we will take a bike ride on the city wall - a national historical and cultural site created by the Ming Dynasty to fortify Xi'an.

We end a fantastic day with a visit to a Tang Dynasty dancing show, one of the main attractions of Xi'an and a proud representative of Chinese entertainment.

20 MayXi'an to Beijing

Our visit to Xi'an has sadly come to an end. After an early breakfast, we will take the bullet train back to Beijing. Upon arrival, our guides will help you find a transfer to the airport. We recommend you book your flight after 19.00 (07.00 pm), to ensure you have enough time to get from the train station to the airport.
