The Great Wall Marathon® is a part of Adventure Marathons


The Great Wall Marathon 2008

The 9th version of The Great Wall Marathon is over, and all runners, organisers and other staff can look back on a great day. More runners than ever - over 1700 in all - conquered the Wall in the four distances: 5 K, 10K, halfmarathon and marathon. A new course record were set by the 37 year-old Mexican Romualdo Sanchez Garita (3:18:48). The weather was great: overcast, 18C/65F and no heavy rain as predicted.
